"Rachel was restricted to bench after throwing the bat a second time," St. Paul's coach Vance Hobbs said. "She apologized to the catcher for her actions. She is not a regular softball player, and was starting in her first game. Rachel put the ball in play several times to get the game rolling for us. She is always positive in cheering the team on."
