Lutherville, Maryland – The Maryvale Varsity Lacrosse team traveled to Florida over Spring Break to practice and compete.

The team played two games. They beat IMG Academy first and then took the win against Lassiter HS from Georgia.

“It was a good opportunity to play against different competition,” said Head Coach Brian Reese. “This trip was really about the team getting to know each other and building relationships that will strengthen their bond to show up for the rest of the season.”

Senior Ryan Kinkead, Georgetown commit, added, “The bonds we have created and the connections we have with each other, on and off the field, will be a huge factor in our success as we continue our season! This team has so much potential, and I think we have come out of this trip stronger than ever.”

Maryvale is ranked third in the IAAM A Conference with a 4-1 conference record and an 8-1 overall record.
