About Laney: Laney’s second goal of the season was the first and only score in the Reds’ triumph over Perry Hall at the IAAM Challenge V this weekend.

Six minutes into the second half of a scoreless match, the opportunistic sophomore forward intercepted a pass from the Perry Hall keeper and finished a left-footer to give RPCS a lead it would keep to move its record to 3-0 in the early going of the season.

“Laney is an energetic athlete who always wants to be on the field and involved in every play,” RPCS coach Gaby Davis said. “Typically playing a wide midfield position or up top as a forward, she is willing to play anywhere to be on the field. Laney has grown and improved since last season and we are excited for her contributions this season.”
