ACCOMPLISHMENTS: Brooke concluded a banner week with 64 assists, 22 digs, seven aces, seven kills, three blocks and an 85 serving percentage in wins over Indian Creek, Bryn Mawr and Annapolis last week. Her coach (and mom), Sarah Heary, said that "Brooke trained all summer in order to step into the setting role for us this year and fill a void left by a senior, and it has come very naturally to her. She is a talented athlete and fierce competitor with an incredibly high volleyball IQ, making her a vital component to our team’s success thus far. As an underclass team captain, she leads our offense with a desire to give a perfect set every time, and her relentless defensive efforts this past week helped push us to victories."
