About Reagan:  

Reagan was rock-solid in a 13-4 victory over Glenelg Country School on Tuesday, making five saves in the A Conference semifinal. The freshman, who also plays goalie for the field hockey team, was spectacular on Friday with 10 saves in a 13-8 victory over two-time defending champion St. Paul’s School for Girls in the title game.

McDonogh coach Taylor Cummings said that the rookie netminder was the MVP of the game.

“Just an unreal performance by her, a freshman, to be in cage in that big of a moment,” the coach said. “To step up and make so many difficult saves, and to have the composure to clear it — just so proud of her.”

“I came into this game feeling really ready,” Reagan said. “I only allowed like two goals in the warmup — that’s like the best I’ve ever done in the warmup. (Defensive coordinator) Coach Meg (Nicotra) had me really excited to play. I knew coming out that this was going to be my best game. I always play the best under really good pressure, against the best teams.”
